. Team Development .
PRI, Inc. offers services in six areas of team development:
Team Building This approach is entirely geared to addressing the actual situations and challenges confronting an intact team. The team moves through a process of identifying its own obstacles to top
performance and effectively tackling those obstacles. Targeted skill building is introduced as needed. Team members leave with renewed sense of enthusiasm as a result of the joint problem solving and
action planning with real team problems.
New Team Start-up Specifically designed to launch a new team in the right direction, this program takes team members through structured exercises which enable them to practice effective team
interaction. Team members explore the seven developmental phases of the Team Performance Model which serves as a guide to high performance. Focusing on the first two phases, the team works to clarify the team
purpose and how each person fits in; and to build trust that is characterized by mutual regard and forthrightness.
Developing Teamwork Skills Individuals at any work level and from any work area participate in energizing simulations and group activities which allow them to look at how they manage team tasks and
relationships. As a result, participants derive important concepts, guidelines, and skills for application on the job.
Team Leadership PRI, Inc. provides consultation, helpful tools, and skill building for team leaders. The services are geared to help new or experienced team leaders apply the best leadership
approach and intervention to enable success at each stage of team development and with every change in team task or external circumstances.
Conflict Resolution When tension between two team members or two teams reaches an unhealthy level, the expertise of a third party can help resolve conflict and restore collaboration. In 3 - 4
sessions, a skilled PRI consultant can take individuals or teams through a tried-and-true process to open communication and reach agreements.
New Leader Assimilation This one-day process allows a leader to quickly assimilate into the culture of their new work group or team. The basic concept was developed in a major Fortune 500
corporation and ha been used with outstanding success to help hundreds of new managers and their groups.
